New Zealand's Hayden Wilde won the 2026 Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France, finishing in 3:50:51, just 18 seconds ahead of Kristian Blummenfelt. Defending champion Jelle Geens took third, making Wilde the first Kiwi to win the title since 2008. IRONMAN

Taylor Knibb won the 2026 Precision Fuel & Hydration IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France, finishing in 4:19:24 to claim her fourth world title. Julie Derron of Switzerland took second and Alanis Siffert of Switzerland placed third. IRONMAN

The1 B.A.A. has opened qualifier registration for the 131st Boston Marathon, set for April 19, 2027, with applications open through September 18. A new Boston Qualifier Selection will randomly award roughly 1,000 additional entries to athletes who met but didn't beat the cutoff time. Boston Athletic Association

Dublin Marathon Group has launched the realbuzz Shakeout Run, a non-competitive 5K on October 24 in Phoenix Park for charity runners who secured their 2026 Irish Life Dublin Marathon spot through realbuzz. Forty five additional spots are open to other registered marathon runners. realbuzz
