🦵 Short bursts may build strength as well as one long session. In an eight-week Tongji University study of 45 young men, three one-minute bouts of 20 weighted squats showed no significant difference in strength or endurance from one 60-squat session. The "snacking" group also enjoyed it more.

🧪 Exercise may help the body handle plastics, according to a study in The FASEB Journal. Researchers used zebrafish, which share about 70% of human genes and are widely used in medical research. Fish exposed to nanoplastics for 21 days that did 20 minutes of daily moderate exercise had less buildup in ovarian tissue, stronger antioxidant defenses and partly restored gut bacteria.
